Built to take the heat We use high-purity quartz glass to hold the tungsten filament. Why? Because bathrooms are brutal. You’re flicking the switch on and off constantly. Cheap glass would crack under that kind of thermal shock. And unlike those old oil-filled towel rails that take forever to get going, these hit their peak temperature in seconds. You flip the switch, and you’re warm. Period. A few things to keep in mind These need to be wired into a dedicated circuit with housings that can handle the steam. Here’s the thing: because we’ve filtered out the glare, the lamp doesn’t look as bright. Some people think this means the heater isn’t working or that it’s underpowered. It’s not. The heat is all there; you just can’t see it. One last tip: if you’re putting these in a really steamy spot, double-check your IP rating. If the seals aren’t right, the connectors will corrode and burn out before the year is up. Not a great look.
