Introduction
You know that feeling when you’re out on the patio and the air turns just a little too crisp? We built these hanging patio heaters to fix that. They’re all about giving you warmth exactly where you need it. No heating up the whole sky, no wasted energy. Just pure, direct comfort. At the heart of it is a high-intensity halogen lamp. It’s tough, built to take whatever the weather throws at it, and keeps putting out steady heat without blinking.
Technical Deep-Dive
Here’s the quick rundown: the halogen tube hits 2500W and runs on either 230V or 400V. That’s a lot of heat packed into a small space. The 300mm tube focuses the infrared beam right where you want it—on people and surfaces, not the empty air. Because of that power, the wiring and control gear have to be up to the job. We make sure they’re rated for continuous duty, so you don’t have to think about it.
Material & Design
The quartz envelope can handle sudden temperature shifts without cracking, so the output stays steady. Halogen gas keeps the filament clean, which means the lamp lasts longer and stays bright—no darkening over time. And swapping out the lamp is simple. The R7s connector is a rugged, direct fit, so it’s a true drop-in replacement. We also coat the reflector to keep it reflective and protect it from the elements. That way, the heat keeps coming, even after many seasons.
Application & Benefits
Hang one up, and you clear floor space and get heat without the clutter. Installation is straightforward, anchored to solid structural points. The warmth is immediate. That’s the magic of infrared—perfect for exposed patios where air heaters just can’t cut it. Now, there is a trade-off. The high heat density means you need proper ventilation and clearance. But the payoff is real: fast heat, simple install, and a heater that keeps showing up, even when the weather gets ugly.
