The power behind the heat
Let’s get into the details, but keep it real. This unit runs on 400V, pulls 2500W, and the tube is 300mm long. That 2500W isn’t random. It packs serious heat density into a small footprint, so you can hit small zones fast without having to overhaul the whole system. The 400V design also helps keep the current down, which makes your wiring and contactors easier to manage inside a tight machine enclosure. And that 300mm length? It gives you predictable heat spread, so you can match the heat to the part more naturally.
What’s inside, and why it matters
Inside, a halogen element sits in a quartz envelope that can handle rapid temperature swings without flinching. The tube also has a reflective coating to push more infrared energy forward, so more heat lands on the workpiece instead of spilling to the sides. For installation, we went with an R7s connector. It’s an industrial workhorse that clicks in quickly and stays solid, even when things get shaky from vibration.
